chronicles of narnia







I started reading the chronicles of narnia , when i got done with the first book The Magicians Nephew i sat and thought about how the book was about creation. The book is basicaly about this boy Digory and his friend polly, how his uncle andrew is a magician and creates rings that will get you to a place that is between all other worlds and basicaly its a valley. It mostly discribes how Narnia was created and how evil first entered it. It had many alluisons to the bible, mostly gennisus. so if you haven't read it its a great book!

"PRIDE"







pride is somthing we all have. The reason is because, our socity prides its self on pride. We have to have pride in the city we live, in the school we go to, what team we root for or particapate in and work. We are not reminded by our soctiy that we shouldn't boast because with out god nothing is possiable. I know i commit pride all the time and mostly talking about records in football, or how much weight i lift, or my city and how it is better than wadsworth. in james it talks about pride in chapter 4 verse 6~10 it says But he bestows a greater grace; therefore, it says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." So submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (4:6-7) to me it changed my mind set knowning god resists the proudstrong>. I known i am one of the most pridful which in turn results in envy which is a hole nother topic. In verse 7 it talks about submitting yourself to god and to resist satan. Which if you remember in bathisim we say we will reject satan! So yeah! this changed my life in the prideful things i say. Because god hates pride, pride is one of the 7 deadly sins.

Although I had no idea what this local priest was talking about in his homily I knew exactly what was happening a few minutes later when he lifted the host and then the cup up and prayed, "Dieses ist mein Körper; dieses ist mein Blut." "This is my body; this is my blood."

It was the words of consecration and in German or in English I understood what was happening; Transubstantiation, at consecration the bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus. Jesus was truly in my midst right there in Cologne, Germany; just like He is there when I attend a mass in California, Louisiana, or Arizona. Wherever and whenever the mass is prayed, one thing always happens - Jesus shows up, no matter what language is spoken. And that is why I am Catholic.

"Letting go"



thats the title letting go.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says

1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate,

I really want to focus on verse 1 because it means that god sets us up with somthing only for a short time.

like bobbys huge cool blog. If you tried to go to that it got deleted because i felt the season for it was over. And like when you leave anything it was hard to hit the delete button but i knew it had to be done. vese 3 says 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build. A time to tear down and time to build. I felt that it was time to tear down that blog to be able to build this blog up to gloyfiy god.

I felt that on bhcb that it started to gloyify and build up god, but then i turned form that and the post got more septrated and less fequent.

then i made this blog and it really hasn't gloyifyed god well tilll the last few posts.

I have made some HUGE changes in my life the last couple of days and weeks at that.
with that it is time to just make this blog what it was meant for!

RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from church and the closeing of the fall/winter retreat. I learned so many things about myself my faith and just people.

I am going to go in very vague details because of 100% confedtaliy.

1 praying the rossery rocks i have said a total of 4 rosserys in 3 days. I found adoration to the blest sacrament rocks getting prayed over rocks!

I now fermily belive the CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE TRUTH.

Anything can heal a friendship.

I also learned you can't be and exeptional prostitute for jesus. lol

I found my big bro's and sisters in the LIFTEEN CORE.
I LOVR you guys and galS.

I was having douting issuse about being catholic and durning this retreat they were demloished and i know what god wants.

we learned about without the holy sprit you are ice, when you have it you are on fire how to power that fire for jesus.

I was greatly renewed by the sprit on this retreat, and three weeks before i new i needed this retreat more then anything.

It has also been a year since i have truely in my eyes been catholic. But its not just Catholic its CAFLIC. I love it and i know god loves it.
